Been to Nahar's restaurants quite a few times. The garden restaurant which serves south indian food is really good even though it can be considered expensive. The idlis served here are one of the best if you are a idli fan. Even if you are not a fan of idlis, you will want to try it. The dosas especially mysore masala dosa is mouth watering. Generally the service is also good expect during the season when the service goes down in quality everywhere in Ooty.
Centrally located... Good rooms.. Well maintained.. Decent service... Courteous and helpful staff... Rates could be reduced a bit... Considering there are quite a few newer properties with mch better amenities and services available... Hit water and room service starts only after 7am... A major drawback... A bit of revamping will go a long way...
The Garden restaurant is a must visit if you visit ooty. The idly’s, the mysore masala dosa, the chat varities and what not. Everything on the menu is awesome. Need to mention about the service, all the waiters are well manmered
We had a nice stay at Nahar. The restaurant food quality was ok but the price was on the higher side. They could provide more quality food for the price they charge. The rooms were good and clean, room service was nice. Since we stayed for two days mostly we had food in their restaurants. Vegetarian options are not so many nearby except for A2B which was crowded most of the time and you cannot enjoy your food there with people standing around looking for tables.
We had been to the Garden restaurant of this Nahar's during first week of June for our breakfast... A very good ambiance and Customer friendly restaurant. Good and decent parking facility is available. Food is excellent...a bit costly... Idly, Dosa ,Mysore Masala, Pongal....everything was very good... Coffee is too tasty. Pleasant customer service... Good family hotel to have our food at Ooty. We can also get their food per "Swiggy"
We visited and stayed there from 18/11/2019 to 21/11/2019. The Hotel is having Pure Vegetarian restaurants serving south indian, North indian and Chinese food and also chat. The Hotel is neat and clean, staff is very co-operative and room service is good. Restaurants cleanliness is also good. Overall a good hotel for pure vegetarian people. Jain food is also available.
