Not worth the money if you're booking the basic room. We paid around ₹17,000, but the room was just average, and the facilities were nothing special. The overall experience didn't feel luxurious enough to justify the price. For the same budget, you can find much better resorts with superior rooms and amenities. It feels like you're paying more for the brand name than the actual experience. I wouldn't recommend it, especially if you're expecting value for money.
Me and my husband had visited for a lunch a year ago and have been waiting to come for a stay, last weekend we came for one day stay and it was an amazing and magical stay!! First of all the location was so beautiful , it looks like an English town with beautiful gardens .. the room has a balcony with amazing views of the hills and a spot for indoor and outdoor bonfire even though we didn’t use it .. it was crazy photogenic! We had an amazing dinner with drinks and live music .. the Singer David was amazingly talented and had great passion and voice for singing .. it turned our evening into a magical one … 100% would come back with the whole family! Amazing property .. hats off ✨✨🙌🏾 The staff were also very friendly and helpful, Mr. Sabrish helped us out in the reception and many other tbh!!
We had a wonderful time. Such a peaceful and service rich stay. All the staff are so diligent and friendly. They strive to bring out the meaning of service. From the reception, to the chefs, particularly Mr.Bonny, he goes out of his way to satisfy our cravings. The buffets are so well planned and different every day. Jess took us on wonderful walks.
We have been regulars to the Coorg Ayatana, and this was our first time in Ooty. We were really amazed with the hospitality by the team, very hands-on, cooperative and helpful, A special mention to a few crew members, Shivam, Shantanu, Jess, the reception people and pretty much every one for being very helpful during our stay. Please do not miss out on the bird watching in the morning, you might sight other living beings. Bisons are common in the area. Tea tasting was definitely one of the things that we enjoyed. Live music by David is a treat to your ears. The game area, playing housie, carrom board, and snooker upstairs really made us enjoy. The kids play area, cricket area is very well planned. I would suggest a minimum two nights stay in this property, and enjoy the beautiful environment that they have created inside the premises. The lush green around the resort is truly divine & breathtaking. Not to forget to mention, the food was amazing and so were the drinks.
We had a wonderful stay at Ayatana, Ooty. Although the property is a bit far from the main Ooty town, the location is absolutely fabulous—nestled amidst lush tea gardens, offering serene and breathtaking views. The property itself is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and come with stunning views that make the stay even more relaxing. The staff is extremely polite, warm, and attentive, always ensuring a comfortable experience. The restaurant service was equally impressive. We opted for the buffet, and the food was delicious with a great variety, complemented by excellent service. I have stayed in many properties across South India, but Ayatana truly stands out as the best among all. Overall, a perfect place for a peaceful and luxurious getaway. Highly recommended!
Great stay! Booked it for my parents and they loved the stay
